Let me know if you have any feedback on this app. It's meant to a be small, simple, easy to use kind of thing. There are alot of features it doesn't include. It would be interesting to know which ones people are most interested in.
Cheers.

I have gotten some in person comments asking for something like 'pause'.  The idea is, if you are working on, say Help Desk ticket 100 and you go off to a meeting and come back, we want to continue tracking Help Desk ticket 100 time.

You can do this in this application though it does not have a pause button. If you enter the same data in the ticket field, when you summarize by tickets, you can get all the time you spent on, for example, 'HD 100' (Help Desk ticket 100), and it will be added up for you. The way the app works though, you have to enter the same ticket data, ie, you have to enter 'HD 100' each time to get the app to do the addition for you. If not, you will get a list of tickets and you should be able to calculate your per ticket time overall, if you mis-typed or changed the ticket number at some point, etc.

Also, it is assumed that a ticket always has the same code. In the above example, we are assuming that 'HD 100' is always being worked on under the Production Support code. It's theoretically possible you might want to handle this ticket in, say the Administration code. The app doesn't support that. If its a desired functionality, the logic to summarize tickets would have to include an if statement asking if the code was the same before making the addition. To this developer, it seems like this issue would be more likely due to typing errors or inadequate definition of codes.
